Reset to Factory Settings¶
There are several reasons to reset your EZCast Pro device to factory settings:

You forgot the admin password for Advanced Settings.

You made changes to your network infrastructure, IP settings, or the Stick's SSID credentials and your Stick is no longer accessible.

You're having trouble reverting an unwanted change on the Stick.
When resetting, all settings will be restored to default except the WiFi SSID, home screen background image, and firmware version.
Soft Reset via App/Software¶
Open Advanced Settings¶
- Connect your device to the EZCast Pro II device, either via the EZCast Pro II's SSID or through the same WiFi/LAN infrastructure the EZCast Pro II is connected to:
- Enter your EZCast Pro device's IP address (shown at the bottom left of the home screen) in any web browser:
Log in as Admin¶
- Enter the admin password and click
OK
to log in. The default password is000000
. If this password isn't accepted, perform a hard reset instead.
Restore Default Settings¶
- From the top-left menu, select
Admin Settings
.
- Choose
Restore Default Settings
.
- Confirm by selecting
Yes
.
Hard Reset via Reset Button¶
If you don't know the login credentials for Advanced Settings, you can restore default settings using the reset button:
- With power connected, press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds. The reset button is located on the side of the Stick next to the USB port.
- Release the button when you see this message:
- After resetting, you must select your country during initial setup:
